You won't believe how addictive 2017 Angry Shark: Simulator Game is until you try it. I downloaded it just to pass a few minutes, and suddenly I’d been playing for over an hour! You take control of a massive, angry shark—yes, you’re the predator—and wreak havoc in the deep blue sea, on the beach, and even up on land if you’re fast enough. It’s wild.
The controls are super intuitive. You move the shark using the joystick on the left, and then you have a dedicated button for chomping, which is incredibly satisfying. The graphics are surprisingly good for a mobile game. The water effects look pretty realistic, and the animations when you attack boats or leap out of the water to snatch birds or humans—pure chaos, in the best way.
What I really love is the variety. It’s not just aimless swimming (though you can do that if you want). There are missions where you need to destroy boats, eat a certain number of swimmers, or survive for a set time without getting killed. It keeps things fresh and gives you goals to work toward, which I didn’t expect from a game like this.
There are also upgrades! As you rack up points and complete levels, you can make your shark stronger, faster, and even more terrifying. I’ve unlocked a couple of different shark types too. One of them looks almost prehistoric and has crazy speed—it’s awesome. You can feel the progression as your shark becomes this unstoppable force of nature.
And the sound effects? Spot on. Splashing water, terrified screams, crunching bones—it all adds to the immersive experience. Sometimes I play with headphones just to enjoy it more. Honestly, if you're into chaotic fun, or just love shark games, this one is a total gem. It’s just fun, ridiculous, over-the-top entertainment. Highly recommend giving it a go.
